Managing your Experiences Catalog in KOOB ensures that your activities, transfers, programs, and extras are well-organized and easily accessible for Tour Operators (TOs). A structured catalog enhances searchability, improves the booking experience, and helps maximize your sales potential.

Accessing the Experiences catalog

To view and manage your experiences:

  • Log in to your KOOB account.
  • Click on "Experiences" in the left sidebar.
  • The catalog will display all experiences uploaded to KOOB, categorized into:
    • Programs (Multi-day packages)
    • Activities (Excursions)
    • Transfers (Air, Land, Boat, Rail)
    • Options/Extras (Additional services like guides or special add-ons)

Key sections of the catalog:

  • Search Bar → Find experiences quickly by name or keyword.
  • Filters → Refine results based on location, duration, theme, guide language, and sustainability level.
  • Status Controls → View Available, In Progress, or Standby experiences.

Using filters & search options

KOOB offers multiple filters to help you find experiences quickly.

Main filters:

  • Search Bar → Enter keywords to find specific experiences.
  • Status Filters → Choose between All, Available, In Progress, or Standby.
  • Location Filters:
    • Start Location → Where the experience begins.
    • End Location → Where the experience finishes.
  • Experience Duration → Filter by the number of days.
  • Guide Language → Show experiences with specific language availability.
  • Experience Themes → Select themes like Adventure, Cycling, Family, etc.
  • Experience Segments → Filter by Join-in, Private, Exclusive, etc.
  • Sustainable Level → View experiences that align with sustainability standards.

Understanding the Experience thumbnails

Each experience appears as a thumbnail displaying key details:

  • Cover Image → A preview representing the experience.
  • Tags → Show themes such as Family, Private, Beach Stay, etc.
  • Title → The name of the experience.
  • Duration → Total length in days.
  • Experience segment → FIT (Fully Independent Traveler) or SIC (Seat-in-Coach).
  • Start location→ Main city where the experience starts.
  • End Location→ Main city where the experience ends.
  • Typology → Whether it’s a Program, Activity, Transfer, or Extra.

Experience status and visibility

Every experience falls under one of these statuses, which control its visibility:

  • Available → The experience is live and bookable by TOs if showcased or distributed.
  • In Progress → The experience is being edited before publication (not visible to TO).
  • Standby → The experience is paused but can be reactivated anytime (not visible to TO).

✅ Tip: Use the Status Filter at the top to track which experiences need updates.

 

Switching between List & Map view

KOOB provides three different views to navigate the catalog efficiently:

  • List View → Displays experiences as visual cards for easy browsing.
  • Map View → Shows experiences on an interactive map by location.

To activate Map View:

  • Click the Map icon at the top-right corner.

 

  • Experiences will appear as pins with numbers and symbols on the map.

 

  • Click on a pin/symbol to view details.

  • Use the arrows on the Card to display all the Experiences available in this city/region.
  • Combine Map View with filters like experience themes and duration to refine searches.

 

Managing pagination and displaying results

KOOB allows you to control how many experiences appear per page.

  • Set the number of results per page (e.g., 12, 24, 48).
  • Use navigation arrows or a dropdown menu to browse between pages.
