🚀 Objective: The Hotel Catalog provides an efficient and intuitive way to access and navigate through your hotels before diving into detailed management.

Accessing the Hotel Catalog

Log in to KOOB as a DMC user or Admin.
Click on "Hotels" in the left menu to open the Hotel Catalog.
The catalog displays all hotels you have loaded, categorized by:
- Hotels currently available (available for booking).
- Hotels not yet published (saved as in progress)
- Hotels that are deactivate (stand by).

✅ Tip: Use the hotel status indicators at the top right to quickly identify which hotels are available, In progress, or stand by.

Viewing hotels in List or Map view

KOOB provides two display modes for easier navigation:

List view

Displays hotels in a structured list with key details such as hotel name, location, star rating, and typology.
Ideal for quickly scanning multiple hotels at once.
Sorting options allow you to organize hotels by name, location, stars, kind of hotel.

Map View

Shows hotel locations on an interactive map.
Allows zooming in and out for better geographical context.
Clicking on a hotel pin reveals a quick overview and a shortcut to the detailed hotel page.

✅ Pro Tip: Use Map View when managing multiple hotels in a destination to visualize proximity and Points of Interests.

Searching for Hotels in the catalog

To find specific hotels, use the dynamic search bar at the top of the catalog. You can search by:

🔍 Hotel Name → Type a specific hotel’s name.
📍 Location → Enter a city or region to find all hotels in that area.
⭐ Hotel Category → Select 3-star, 4-star, 5-star, etc.
🗓️ Kind of hotels → Filter by typology (Family, groups, couples...)

After entering your search criteria, you don’t need to press Enter or click Search, KOOB will update the results dynamically.

✅ Tip:

If a hotel does not appear, check whether it is in Progress or Stand by under contract settings.
Combine multiple filters (e.g., Couple + 5-Star + the city) to find the best matching hotels in your portfolio.

Understanding Hotel thumbnails

Each hotel in the catalog is represented by a thumbnail preview, displaying:

🏨 Hotel Name & Location → Quickly identify the property.
⭐ Star Rating → Understand the quality category at a glance.
📷 Cover Image → A preview of the hotel’s main photo.
Availability → See whether the hotel is connected to a Channel Manager (Live) or on request.

Showcase → See whether the hotel is showcased or not on the KOOB Marketplace

Clicking on a hotel thumbnail will open its detailed page, where you can view full contract settings, pricing, and conditions.

📌 Note: At this stage, you are only browsing. You can edit hotel details once inside the Hotel Fact Sheet section.

Pagination and display settings in the Hotel Catalog

When browsing the Hotel Catalog in KOOB, you can control how many hotels are displayed per page and easily navigate through multiple pages of results.

Adjusting the number of Hotels displayed per page

The “Per page” selector (as shown in the image) allows you to control how many hotels are displayed on each page.
You can choose from different options (e.g., 12, 24, 48, or 100 hotels per page), depending on how much information you want to view at once.

Understanding pagination and total results

At the bottom of the page, you will see a summary such as: “Showing 1 to 24 of 434 results”

This indicates the current range of hotels displayed on the page (e.g., 1–24)
And the total number of available hotels (e.g., 434)

✅ Tip: If your catalog contains many hotels, increasing the number of results per page reduces the need for frequent page changes.

Navigating between pages

Use the page numbers (e.g., 1, 2, …, 19) to jump to a specific page.
Use the arrow buttons to move to the previous or next page.
The current page is highlighted for easy identification.

📌 Note: If you cannot find a hotel on the current page, try navigating to the next page or increasing the results per page.
