How to connect to a DMC through KOOB?
KOOB allows Tour Operators (TOs) to connect with Destination Management Companies (DMCs) to access and book their Hotels, Experiences, and Trips. Connecting is done through a connection request, which the DMC can approve or deny.

Why connect to a DMC?
By connecting to a DMC, you unlock:
✅ Hotels → View real-time availability and make direct bookings
✅ Experiences → Book activities, programs, and extras
✅ Trips → Use and customize prebuilt itineraries in the Trip Designer
📌 Without a connection, you can only view Showcase DMC products, which are not bookable.
Requesting a connection to a DMC
From the DMCs menu (Recommended)

Go to the "DMCs" menu in KOOB

Browse the list of available DMCs, you can use the search bar at the top.

Click a DMC website link to view their information

Select the product types you need access to:

You’ll receive an email notification once it’s approved or denied
📌 Note: You can choose one or multiple product types per DMC.
From the Showcase Catalog
Even without a connection, you can preview some products in Showcase Mode. To request access:

Go to “Hotels” or “Experiences”

Browse and click on a Showcase product

Click “Request Connection” on the page or thumbnail

Alternatively, request from the Map View using the banners
📌 Tip: Look for the “Request Connection” banner to know when a product is locked but available through a connection.

What happens after approval?
✅ You’ll receive a confirmation email
✅ You’ll unlock full access to Hotels, Experiences, or Trips (as selected)
✅ You can now browse and book the DMC’s content from your KOOB dashboard
📌 Important: If prices are not visible after approval, the DMC might need to finalize distribution settings (e.g. margins or allotments).
If your request is denied
❌ The DMC may not be ready to work with your organization
❌ You cannot book their products unless they change their decision later
❌ You can still view Showcase products (non-bookable)
📌 Tip: You may contact the DMC directly to request reconsideration or ask for clarification.
